the first signs of fall...

well, i promised you some photos of my favorite cookbook, but i'm just not in the mood this morning. i'd much rather be snuggled up in bed next to my love.
this weekend was very productive & being unplugged was just what i needed. i went to the farmer's market on saturday & purchased the most beautiful butternut squash there. on sunday night, i opened {a homemade life} & made {molly's} "butternut soup with pear, cider, and vanilla bean." it was amazing! luke kept saying, "this is the best soup you have ever made!"
we also visited a corn maze with one of our friends, {kelsey}. such a nice time!

but- there isn't much more to say. tonight we're having dinner with our neighbor & friend, {anna}.
i just got a roll of film back so i'll be posting some more photos soon!

love,
natalie

I have to tell you that I had a wonderful Sunday, even though we were just doing chores and homework around the house. It is comforting to simply be in the same room as you, even if we're not directly interacting. Plus, the soup topped off the evening.

love,
your admirer and biggest fan

Is that my hand in that picture? If so, yay!!!!

Also, Luke may be your biggest fan, but I definitely think I'm in the top 10.
