autumn camping trip

this past weekend we made a trip to the ozarks for our autumn camping tradition. we brought along some fresh produce from our garden & ingredients for amy's banana boats. we hiked along the yellow rock trail with huck by our side. i napped in the chilly afternoon air on our new hammock underneath a soft wool blanket. i took home a mossy rock & pretty acorn to remember our trip. next time we will remember the coffee!

love,
natalie

this looks so dreamy. i'm still holding out hope that we can make a camping trip happen before it gets too frigid up here. i've been so deprived this year!

julia, you are getting MARRIED this year! the only thing i did the summer of our wedding was plan, plan, plan. you planted a healthy garden this year! you should give yourself a pat on the back, sister.

candlelight dinner? ceramic bowl of fruit on the table!? you are killing me with cuteness.
so much beauty here - love the stacks of rocks and the hammock-with-blanket reading nook.

(btw, my security word verification is "phoev". is that like forever, with a vietnamese soup spin? lol)

ahh sheet, you forgot the coffee!! haha... guess that means you'll have to take more sunkissed hammock naps!!

Love Love Love your country side candle lit dinner. Totally stealing that idea next time I go camping.... which will probably be a very very long time from now, as my husband is such a city boy!!! haha, looks like you had a great time!

Ahh, looks like its finally cooling off in Arkansas. I'm so eager to go camping now that we're in the NW, surrounded by mountains.

Oh! Looks like a blast. My boyfriend and I regretted not having gone camping this last weekend since the weather here was so nice.
