my 2014 one word.

although i never made it official last year, the word "joy" was my one word for 2013. this word was all over my home & found it's way into my life in a big way. magical things can happen in one year when we are intentional. in 2013, life gave me joy. in 2014, i crave quality.

quality: something that can be noticed as a part of a person or thing...

when i read those words, something clicked inside me. so often we strive for simplicity in our lives, but other times those things we want for our families & this precious life aren't so simple. instead, we want quality in each day. something that can be noticed in our daily living.

so in 2014 i seek quality of life.

there are so many areas of my life that crave quality. this word is all about the food i eat & how it makes my body feel. this word is about the quality in the things i own & how little we really do need to be happy. this word is about how i treat, view & love myself. this also means getting dressed everyday. this word is about how i use my time & saying no to those guilty time suckers.

2014, i am ready for you!

happy new year to you, friends! do you have one word for 2014? please share!
love,
natalie

My word is Faithfulness. To grow closer to Jesus. Last years word was Trust. It totally changed my life! I like quality. So important as life is just too short!!

My word is optimism. We have a lot if uncertainty in the next year; however, if we face the challenges with faith and optimism, I know everything will work out in the end. I tend to worry about things outside of my control and I would like to be more mindful of the way I approach difficulties.

My word is active. I want to actively participate in my life, physically, mentally and emotionally.

You have a very beautiful soul, Natalie ~~

My word for the new year is love, to love myself, my family, and friends, and people who are different from me. I wish the world a better place, and people can show more care for each other, not indifference and always on the defence.

I just stumbled upon your blog today (or should I say tonight, hihi, it's 2 am in my part of the world) and am so inspired! It helped me choose language over 2014 for my own life.
And that is that 'Healthy things grow.." It's something I hear in our church a lot and a much needed subject for this year. Thanks so much for sharing your life with us! ♥ Karyn
