the barefoot seamstress tote bag giveaway!

there are two articles of clothing in my life worth investing in: shoes & purses.

i really wear my shoes. from farm chores to scavenging junk among piles at thrift shops & yard sales, my soles see miles & know hard work.

my purses & totes carry my life. at any given moment inside my purse, you're likely to find a craft project, books, my daily planner, our cash budget wallet (by miss money bags- love her!), a measuring tape, & bits of life chicken-scratched on tiny pieces of paper fluttering throughout.

my bag is my come-along friend, up for any adventure & tucked among rusty goodness stuffed in the back of my tiny hatchback car.

so i was absolutely thrilled when becky sent me her new desert horizon tote bag from her shop, the barefoot seamstress.

y'all, becky is the real deal & this bag is not playing around.

it has deep pockets inside for storing chapstick, pens, your phone & more. it also has sturdy leather straps perfect for carrying weight, like that over-due library book. also, can we just talk about it's cute factor? i've been carrying this tote for over two weeks now & it's the highlight of my outfit every single time.

it's your lucky day because the barefoot seamstress is offering the desert horizon tote bag to one lucky natalie creates reader! it's easy peasy to enter. simply -

1. visit the barefoot seamstress shop & browse her beauties.

2. follow @thebarefootseamstress on ig or like "the barefoot seamstress" on facebook.

3. comment with your email address & one piece in your wardrobe you often invest in!

i'll pick a random winner next wednesday, september 17th, at 8 am CST. happy winning!
love,
natalie

p.s. head on over to the barefoot seamstress right now & get your shop on! becky is offering a generous 20% off with the code "nataliecreates" until september 18th. yay!

Hi Natalie! You know you must've found a great tote by the number of comments! I'd have to say that the scarf is something I invest in the most (besides a good bag ;) Scarves are just so versatile. God Bless, Carlie

My biggest investment has always been handbags/backpacks. There is nothing like a good bag that is durable and will survive through my crazy long days at school!

I love to invest in statement accessories (jewelry, scarves, etc.) that can dress any outfit up or down. New to your blog and loving it!

I absolutely love investing in chunky, warm knits made 100% out of natural materials. It feels good taking care of myself that way: knowing I am well prepared for the cold season to come, and making sure whatever I buy is top-quality, so that it can last season after season.

Lovely bags made by Ms. Barefoot Seamstress! Thanks for the tip!

I haven't invested much money into my wardrobe in a long time because I've been pregnant and borrowed/re-used most of my maternity clothes, but I do like to spend more on good-quality shoes rather than buy cheap ones that will break or wear down quickly! Love this bag!

THIS BAG. So much joy seeing people CREATE and be faithful to given gifts. I LOVE IT. As far as investing...shoes! I searched and searched until I finally found mustard yellow birks in my size and they are easily my favorite shoes ever. I'm too cheap for most (new) things but shoes are worth investing in. AND THEY'RE MUSTARD YELLOW.

I also invest in shoes and good quality clothing. I'm very picky about shoes so I'm willing to put good money towards them. I'd rather have a small closet full of good quality items than a larger one full of flimsy, cheap things. I also wear glasses so I'm willing to pay more for those, since I wear them nearly every day. I LOVE this tote! Thanks to you both for the giveaway!

You know me, woman. I don't invest in anything in my wardrobe and that is my main problem, haha! I think one of her purses would make a darling stylish new diaper bag to go with this preppy this no I've got going on now, though! I'm giving you my 'junk' email address....erin_virtue@yahoo.com

Wow, her whole shop is gorgeous!

I most often buy cardigans. I like them in every color. Living in Germany we pretty much wear them year round!

What great bags, and what a wonderful giveaway. The one thing that I invest the most in is shoes. I should have learned this lesson long ago and may have prevented some of the problems that I have . Second would be my bags. I want one that lasts.

Beautiful bags (and I love the camera straps too!). I often invest most in pants because it's hard to find the right fit in a long enough length. No thrifted pants for me unfortunately! :)

That bag is absolutely gorgeous- what a generous giveaway! Shoes are the one thing I don't mind spending more money on. I have never regretted going for expensive, quality shoes because they always last me years! My email is caitlingroen at gmail. Thanks for the chance to win! :)

This bag is amazing. I like the arrow one, too! To be honest, investing in yourself is hard when you have a family! It's easy to forget your own desires when your greatest desire is to meet the needs of the people you love. Over the years, though, I have probably spent the most on jeans and bags.
