the barefoot seamstress fan club + a giveaway!

i'm starting a thang. it's called the TBS fan club, aka the barefoot seamstress fan club

you see, about a year ago, my dear friend, becky of the barefoot seamstress, gifted me one of her tote bags. i love that bag something fierce. it holds my entire life. i have room for my giant planner, my measuring tape (please tell me you also carry a measuring tape) & my 1,000 lip balms. it fits over the shoulder like a dream, too. i love it so hard.

but i needed something a little smaller. a handbag of sorts or a zipper pouch, but a little more practical. something fun for date night but equally casual for our visits to the farmers' market. then walks in this fantastic clutch & TBS fan club was born.

this clutch fits all of my basic goods-  my little pouch from yonder studios with my cards & money, my keys, my gum & my favorite new lip color "lovelight" from urban decay.

also, can we talk about the perfect mustard yellow tassel & leather handle? i can't even.

it even has pouches, people!! this clutch is practical & pretty.

i've already rocked this bad boy at hope spoken, on a date night & to work. it's fun, colorful & spices up my capsule wardrobe outfits.

the fun part of today's post is that you have an opportunity to join TBS fan club, too! sweet becky is offering up a clutch in the fabric of your choice to one natalie creates blog reader!

to enter, simply -

2. follow her on instagram or like her on facebook.
3. comment below with your email address & one thing that brings you joy!

i will pick a random winner on monday, april 13th, & share the winner's name here!

love,
natalie

p.s. don't forget- use the code "NATALIECREATES" for free shipping in becky's shop! happy shopping!

++ giveaway closed!! congrats to molly for winning!!! TBS will email you shortly!! ++

Liked, followed, daydreamed around her shop for a while... I did it all :)

One thing that brings me joy - that first sip of freshly brewed hot coffee in the morning. It's a huge cliche, I know, but it's just... so... perfect.

Too bad coffee insists on going cold so quickly, but! But that first sip!

Magic.

Ummm....these are AH-MAZING!! Two things that are bringing me great joy in this current season: 1) when Mikey (my hubs) can make it home for lunch - such a treat so see him in the middle of the day & 2) when I catch glimpses of my oldest (who's almost 2.5) playing with / loving on his little brother (who's 7 months)

I LOVE her bags. Discovered her through you and having been drooling over them ever since.

One thing that brings me joy: when I think of joy, I think of Christ (not trying to go all Sunday school here, but it's true). I think of the joy I have in Him, that "when all around my soul gives way, He then is all my hope and stay." No matter what is going on, He is my unshakeable joy.

Eek! Liked more like loved! Would love to have one of these beauties in my life.

Things that bring me joy....
My preschoolers (I'm a teacher), my coffee in the morning, adventures, my family, sleeping in on Saturdays and rolling over to my snoozing husband (Newly weds! Eek!), finding and creating treasures (I have a love for restoring/repurposing), sunsets and sunrises (I'm a huge fan ... I chase the sunset to find the best view), good food, friends, laughing- usually always giggling at something, being together (with friends, with family, etc.), my nest (our tiny studio apt above the house we own and rent ... Living simply and being cozy and close ... Our walls bring my husband and I closer together and our love grows bigger than this house), grace, my love of cowboy boots, vintage, the colors turquoise and yellow. My list could go on and on (but now I have to get ready for work ... Which also bring me joy). Joyful life.

I don't get to see my family much, I have seen them once in the past 22 months but just seeing their faces on skype and being able to keep in constant contact with them through technology today makes me so happy and helps me not to feel homesick and so far away from them.

I love Beckys bags and follow her on IG and Facebook. One thing that brings me joy is snuggling with my little guy and husband while having a hot cup of coffee in the morning.

What brings me joy is waking up every day with my dog in a house that my dad built for me that I purchased on my own. aadecato21@gmail.com

Oh my stars! I just stumbled on your site and TBS's. Following you both!! May I say that I love you both already?! I just did. Haha. Seriously though, what brings me joy is watching our 9 kiddos grow in The Lord. That's all I want in this world, is for them to have faith in our Lord & Savior...Oh and this clutch. :) Thank you so much for even considering me. aprilmattingly77@gmail.com

Hello! I'm sorry, I didn't follow the directions. Your post came at a perfect time - I'm about to go on a train trip for five hours by myself, and didn't want to carry around a bulky purse. This is perfect. One thing that brings me joy - the leisure of a Saturday morning (what brought me here!). mrshungria at yahoo dot com Thanks for the giveaway!

following her on facebook and tooled around her shop for a bit. I can see why you are smitten with her bags; they are gorgeous!!!!
one thing that brings me joy: when it's just me and the sunrise. The quiet of a house full of people asleep, and me with my hands wrapped around my first cup of fresh coffee, alternating between reading my Bible and watching the day wake up - it usually only happens on Sunday mornings, and I sooooo look forward to it!
