in february 2013, i will:
- say no to sugar
- finish my first quilt
- drink coffee from home
-----------------------
february is one of my favorite months & i cannot wait to make it even better by choosing how i care for my body, my time & my money! i will slowly but surely finish my first quilt & only drink coffee from home. instead of conveniently stopping by the coffee shop because "i need a pick-me-up!" or "i worked hard! it's time for a reward!," i will bring coffee from home or brew some at my office. the only exceptions: quality time with my husband/date night & work-related meetings.
finally, i will say no to white & brown sugar this month. it's the perfect time (the month of chocolate! ack!) to take care of my body & fill it with good stuff. i will enjoy fruits, honey & the occasional maple syrup as an alternative. i am ready to choose health, friends.
i'd love to hear yours...!
i'd love to hear yours...!
happy february!

good idea:)
*posted my goals a few minutes ago--thanks for the inspiration!
*way to go on the sugar-- it's hard for the first week, then it gets easier, promise! frozen banana chunks, cocoa powder, peanut butter, honey, and almond milk make a great sweet shake. :)
Lovely goals! And congrats on finishing up January so well. That wedding album will come along whenever it's ready and it will be even more perfect because of it.
erin, thanks for the support :)
rachel, thanks for the sweet shake idea! heading over to your blog to read your goals... excited! :)
great list natalie! i love reading your monthly goals :)
You can do it!! I have worked on nixing the sugar & have found a great alternative in fruits & dates. I craved sugary stuff bad for the first 2 wks & then got to where I don't desire it. Hoping that will be an encouragement to you.
Ps- love this monthly goal idea.
Great goals! I'm excited to go sugar free this month. And I'll be able to start making you coffee every morning after I start at the U of A! Valentine's Day is going to be tricky, though ; )
#1…the juice of one lemon in a cup of hot boiling water…with a little bit of honey, first thing in the morning…excellent for the liver and the digestive system (it is also supposed to curb the appetite)….And #2, after your shower, pamper your toes and your feet with sweet almond oil…In a few days your feet will be as smooth as a baby’s bottom and ready for spring! D.
Hi Natalie! I love your monthly goals, they've inspired me to make my own. :) I posted them this week. Good luck on meeting your goals this month!
