in march 2013, i will:
- take care of me
- begin planting our spring garden!
- complete our entryway redo with a budget of $50 or less
---------
i planned on doing a february recap at the end of the month, but the end of last week left me emotionally & physically exhausted. my february goals were so great in keeping me on track, though. i finished my quilt just in time & i gave up coffee shop stops with great success. i learned a lot about my body & it's cravings for sugar. i succeeded at abstaining with mediocre success.
this month is incredibly busy. my work responsibilities are piling up & every weekend looks pretty busy with a camping trip toward the end of the month. that's why i am choosing to take care of me this month. i will go to the gym at least 3 times per week & carefully watch what i put into my body.
i am also looking forward to our spring garden. we are adding several garden beds to our backyard & ordering new chicks! more on that (along with the details of our coop) soon, i promise.
finally, i am itching to complete the remodel of our entryway. i am adding a few succulents, framing several photos, hanging a new mirror & painting just a bit for all under $50. even though this month is crazy, i can't help but add a creative project to my mix of goals.
happy march, friends!
love,
natalie

these are great goals! i love your approach to making your house a home, focusing on one corner at a time. so inspiring!
I stumbled upon your ig profile and found your blog from there- I love it! Simple, inspirational and beautiful. Here's to a wonderful march :)
allison, welcome! i am so happy you are here :)
I love these little goals! And I can't wait to see your new entryway.
Great goals! I've had mine written up in draft for a bit. Need to get to posting them! xoxo
those all seem like good, perfectly achievable goals :)
I love that you set monthly goals. (I can't believe we're already into the 3rd month!) What a great way to feel a sense of accomplishment. Excited to see your how you do your entryway. I often see people's "re-dos" that cost crazy amounts of money. $50 is more up my alley!
I was wondering if you had any suggestions for no-fail house plants. Also, what's your care routine for them? I'm horrible with houseplants - kill them all! But I so badly want some lush green in the house. Thanks!
These goals sound really sensible & achievable: well done! I'm sure you'll manage them. I'm trying to think about the goals I may want to reach but it feels like they're always the same...
How do come up with a few sensible goals?
