gift idea for the mama + lines of grace giveaway

although i'm not a mama just yet, i sit around a big table each week with women who are. at that table, during our thursday morning coffee date, we share the good & bad. we share our misjudgments, our laziness, our mistakes, our guilt & our successes.

& oftentimes those mamas just need to hear one thing... "you are the mama your kids need."

today i want to share with you lines of grace, a beautifully-crafted line of encouragement by my sweet friend, melissa!

the lines of grace shop includes hand-lettered prints of encouragement in both digital & print. she also has a fun happy mail society that invites you to subscribe for a small monthly fee. this happy mail society includes both a digital & print option with lots of fun surprises!

i love that melissa offers a digital print option in her shop.

her digital prints are such a good gift idea for friends during the holidays or just a little pick-me-up for an exhausted mama. gift this print to a handful of mamas & it's only about $2 a person!

no need to buy an expensive frame! i purchase vintage clipboards at our thrift shop for less than $1 each. clip this print to a clipboard & it acts as the perfect frame.

with a cute homemade tag & fun fabric tied to the top, your mama friends will sure feel the love.

sweet melissa is kindly offering up a print of your choice & one month of happy mail society to one natalie creates reader. to enter, simply:

1. visit the lines of grace shop & take a look around.
2. like her on facebook or follow her on ig @linesofgrace
3. comment below with your email address sharing your favorite gift idea for a friend.

i will pick a random winner on november 12th! happy winning!
love,
natalie

What a fun surprise to find Melissa's print featured on your blog today! I have that very print, and met Melissa in person at a homeschool conference called Wild & Free in September. I love the print and have it displayed on a clipboard too!

I love giving gifts to friends, especially surprises! I love baking and often gift plates of homade goodies. One of these prints along with a loaf of bread or plate of cookies would make a delightful gift! murrayandwendymiller@hotmail.com

Natalie, I follow your blog from afar in England and love your colourful, inspirational take on life. Keep doing the good work you are doing! I also love lines of grace. Words are so powerful, my walls are full of calligraphy prints and printables to remind me to live well. There is so much 'advice' for mums floating around but these words about motherhood are the soundest and most encouraging I've heard! I have many mum friends who need to hear this as much as I do. jojobish@hotmail.com

Oh my gosh, I love the "Getting Lost" print! This would make the perfect gift for my best friend whom I've spent countless hours with in the car "getting lost"! :) Lauren01543@yahoo.com

3069i have two favorites: the "You are the Mama" and also the "Getting Lost is not a Waste" one. I love the idea of presenting them on a clipboard, however, I've never seen one at my local thrift shops, so maybe printed smaller and in a thrift frame? Following on IG.

I would love the mama print to give to my other mom friends! We all have 6-8 month olds and really need that encouragement. The clipboard idea is genius! Love your blog :)

I just discovered lines of grace yesterday, so I'm super happy to see this giveaway today! I love to give hand knit presents. It requires early thought, but I love to create it and give it away!

My favorite gift idea for a friend/mama is a basket of pampering items: soap, candles, lovely note cards, fuzzy socks, chocolate (of course), maybe a good book.

Thank you for sharing this. This is what I needed to hear today. I liked her on facebook. I like taking some eggs from our chickens as a gift. I know it's not a gift they'll get often, and it's practical, but I don't have to make assumptions about knowing their style.

After having a chalenging morning with my kiddos this print is a good reminder! ;) I love dropping off a fresh plant or picking up something simple like chocolate or jam for a friend in need. Thank you for sharing! Lovely prints!

Thanks for hosting this giveaway. The gift I bring to a friend varies but usually it is accompanied with homemade bread and fresh eggs.

I like everything in her shop. This print is my favorite though. The words comforted my heart at a time I was feeling so inadequate. I know many mama's who would love to have this so it would be hard to decide.

I love to collect things throughout the year -usually a mix of thrifted and new things- and give my sisters and friends "collections" tailored to them. So fun and personal! Also, I liked Melissa's Facebook page. I love her prints! Heidicbrown@gmail.com

My SIL just had her first baby and she could use a little encouragement on returning back to work and leaving her wee-one in the hands of another. One of my favorite things to bring a new momma is a loaf of warm raisin bread just out of our oven!

Homemade gifts, like a bread in a linen tea towel with a special card (frame able quote or picture). Tie with jute rope. Simple, thoughtful and always welcome. I love the mama card <3
I look forward to following you both on IG.
