natural body care & e&bee giveaway!

i have been on a natural body care journey for many years, balancing our budget with our own personal convictions. sometimes we make room in our budget for products we believe in & other times we opt for the more affordable choice. i call this a journey because we hope to never stop learning, growing & changing in the ways we care for our bodies.

we use epantry for almost all of our cleaning, homemaking & body care products, but most recently i have fallen in love with a smaller company called e&bee.

betsy & emily, a mother/daughter duo of e&bee, create 100% natural products for the face & body that are definitely affordable!

i use several of their products, but i especially love their natural foaming hand sanitizer. i drop it in my purse & use it on-the-go.

their hand sanitizer is 100% natural with zero harsh chemicals. during cold & flu season, it's the perfect go-to product to keep the sickness at bay.

i also absolutely love their mini organic lotion bars. the lemongrass scent is by far my favorite!

the mini organic lotion bars are the perfect little gift for guests. i place them in our bathroom & invite our visitors to take one home & enjoy, especially during the harsh winter months!

because emily & betsy are sweet as pie, they are offering up an amazing giveaway of their product!

I love to use oatmeal, honey, and baking soda, mixed with a little water for a natural face mask!

I really enjoy giveaways that promote all natural brands. They have this lavender body wash that I'm also dying to try!

email is design.andrea@yahoo.com and my natural care tip is to clean your microwave with lemon. We already don't use the microwave too much at the house, but I saw this tip at http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-clean-your-microwave-with-just-a-lemon-cleaning-lessons-from-the-kitchn-200294 and it's super easy and it really helps!

I love to naturally fragrance my home by boiling orange peel, cloves and cinnamon sticks throughout the day.

I love throwing lemon or orange rinds down the garbage disposal for a nice citrus scent.

Frankincense! Oh my goodness, Frankincense. I put on my normal moisturizer when I get out of the shower and dab a little bit of Frankincense on my hand and rub it in with it. My face is immediately softer and more radiant. And it has helped with some problem spots I have! And it smells amazing. Mmm.

I use vinegar + warm water in a spray bottle to clean our hard wood floors and cabinets. Our house smells like an Easter egg for a bit, but it works wonderfully! !

Baking soda does wonders for cleaning and brightening! I also made my own skin exfoliater after my first pregnancy for stretch marks! - Mainly coffee and coconut oil and whatever else I wanted to throw in there for moisturizing or soothing effect! It worked so well, and my skin felt amazing!!!

I love the power of citrus! When I'm not boiling some orange peels to give my home a great smell I'm cutting lemons and filling them with cloves to keep wasps away from my balcony plants :)

My favorite natural care tip right now is baking soda, like Bria said, but mostly because it has been MAGICAL for my daughter's cradle cap! She had a flaky, slightly yellow scalp right around a cowlick at the back of her head, and Jason's grandmother advised us to use a baking soda paste (which is what HER mother had told her to use when SHE had babies). We made a quick paste, used it exactly once during bathtime, and within two days it was gone! I am a huge fan of using anything natural you can on babies.

I wanted to treat my body, home, babies and environment better for every obvious reason you could think of :). My tip is make your own wipes with natural soaps and a few drops of essential oils if you wish! Great for kids/adults/cleanup. I'd love to try this product!!

I am recently into essential oils and the many ways they can be used in the home. I started diffusing lavender essential oil in the evening. It smells so nice and helps create a cozy atmosphere.

Their shop is adorable and I would LOVE to try their products! My favorite natural item would be HONEY, it has sooo many uses. This time of year we mix it with apple cider vinegar for a homeopathic cough medicine. 2 parts vinegar to 1 part honey.

I get really dry skin and feet in the winter. I love to use coconut oil mixed with some sugar and a drop of peppermint essential oils for the perfect all over body and foot scrub. The coconut oil moisturizes while the sugar is an exfoliant. Plus the peppermint oil is a way to de-stress the day away. Love it!

After gardening I treat my dirty raw hands to a coconut oil and sugar scrub. It really cleans out the dirt and leaves them so moisturized. Also a big fan of cleaning the entire house with vinegar and baking soda.
Would love to try their products!

Thank you for sharing your new finds! I'm new to swapping out chemical filled products with all natural ingredients! After my Mom got Breast cancer we became even more aware of the importance of what we put on our skin! One of my favorite mixtures to use is coconut oil with a drop of lavender essential oils! It makes a perfect mixture for dry skin, and everything else!

I don't know that I have an innovative natural care tip, but I have successfully used baking soda and water as a shampoo. I have naturally curly hair and regular shampoo strips out too much of the natural oils in my hair. Baking soda worked great!

Okay, the lavender lotion bar looks like it would be a fab addition to my arsenal. Having a germy preschooler and a newborn girlie, I'm constantly wiping away boogers and cleaning up messes, thus washing my hands TONS. My hands get so chapped in the winter here!

I do a homemade salve for my little girl's sensitive skin: coconut oil, beeswax and essential oils! Love it cause it's all natural and a great protectant!

I love beeswax! I use it for a few key things ranging from calming my dry Colorado skin to taming my unruly eyebrows. I got the idea of the later one after I discovered MAC makes a high-end wax brow finisher. After thinking about it, I thought to try beeswax and realized it accomplishes the same thing and in a much healthier way.
