I plan to paint my concrete patio with a Mediterranean inspired pattern, buy lots of plants (you can never have too many) and repaint our picnic table.

I love the You Are My Sunshine sign from her shop. We are supporters of the Sunshine Sacran project and it would make a perfect gift for the family of the little boy who inspired the program.

I love all of the signs in her etsy shop! But your cheery yellow farm rules is my favorite. I followed olive branch on IG, too.
We are moving to CA this summer (!) so I anticipate setting up a second living room outside. with colorful lanterns and pillows and flowers!

My husband is going to repair a few of our back deck steps and I'm going to try my hand at container gardening! I'd love to have fresh tomatoes and basil to make mass amounts of caprese salad this summer :)

I'm terrible at gardening and lawn care, and I don't have a patio, but my goal this sitting is to at least weed and remulch the landscaping in front of my house, and repaint my picnic table!

We have a screened in porch, so lots of room to hang things. I tend to always find a new spot for a pillow or plant or hanging pottery.

Random question: We are going to purchase an umbrella for outdoors. Are there any tips I should know, such as how heavy a weight do we choose, is there a diameter that is just too large and doesn't work? Any pitfalls to avoid? Don't know why I am so hyper about this, but I think we bought a crummy one about 20 years ago.

We live in a rental, so can't do near as much landscaping as I would like, but this year we plan to plant lots of brightly colored flowers in thrifted pots and hang some strings of outdoor lights :)

I just found your blog and am DYING... I have so many friends who are going to love it too, so I can't wait to share it! I grew up on a farm and being a county girl is in my roots... (and I want chickens too). : ) I live in MN. and it's just starting to get nice here so I've begun to bring out the summer cushions, pots and everything that I have to tuck away for the winter. By next week I hope to start putting out some pansies and herbs pots... I would absolutely LOVE to freshen up the deck with one of the beautiful signs like yours... that and a new tablecloth to match and pots of flowers everywhere would make my heart sInG!!! Have a great day, xo beth
Oh, p.s. I followed OBD on IG and I love the You Are My Sunshine sign so much~ : )

We've been using our screened porch constantly these past few weeks. I'll be painting some of the furniture out there to clean it up some. I'd love to add one of these beautiful signs as well!

We are moving at the beginning of this summer across the country so we are tidying up the yard to sell our house. Don't know how much yard stuff I will get to do after that as we don't have a place to move into yet, but we did just repot our house plants. :)

The front porch is on my bucket list for the summer. Finding a few chairs that the Bull Mastff can fit in without leaving all her hair behind...that goes for the cats too! I love eclectic, junk type decor so I don't want just any pieces. :)
