sacred winter walks

at the end of the week last week, i found myself with about thirty minutes of daylight & a freshly checked off to-do list. i headed outside with my big camera to capture that early winter glory.

i've missed these walks down our dirt road. as a small business owner, i find my days filled to the brim with inside work & nonstop hustle. it's such a gift to carve out a bit of sacred time for self-care & quiet.

i've been thinking through what i want the new year to look like in our little corner of the world. perhaps more walks on this dirt road & space for quiet are just what we need.

what does quiet self-care look like for you?

encouraging you this week to carve out thirty minutes just for you. xo.
love,
natalie

I love poking about little areas to find the subtle beauty in the landscape. Love what you found on your walk!

These days self care is doing a lot of reading and not a lot of tv watching!

Your pictures are always so stunning! And don't get me started on your IG feed, SO INSPIRING! Are most of the pictures you post on IG take with a "real" camera or your phone? The quality is great and I have often found myself trying to find that myself but can't quite seem to figure it out.

What a lovely road! My dream is a little farm with a little farm house...one day!

I'm glad you got to take that walk, because your pictures are beautiful. I am definitely a walker; no better way for me to relax and take a moment for myself.

Beautiful pictures! I find reading to be the best self care in these long winter evenings. That, and trying to get a walk in during day light at some point. And next time, I'll have to bring my camera along - you've inspired me!

YES! Love walks, or just sitting outside, seeing the sun rise, sun set, anything in nature. Also love quiet time reading or crocheting, hot baths.

I try to take a walk through the woods every day. I really don't feel well without it. We have about 5 acres on a lake & walk our trail along the bank with my dog.
