a revolution

we graduated! luke has a bachelor of science in sustainable agriculture. i have a bachelor of arts in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in women's and gender studies, youth studies and education. this weekend we celebrated our accomplishments with our sweet families. it was such a wonderful time & we are so thankful for the support our families have given us in our decision to marry before completing college. each & every day i am reminded of the abundant love of our families.
as we transition into this new chapter, we are filled with excitement of how we will spend our evenings together without the pressures of writing papers, studying for exams, or completing service hours. last night we watched a movie together! i cleaned up the ol' blog, added some new pages, & bartered with a friend for a new banner! we read books of our own choosing! our house is even clean.
people, we are experiencing a revolution!

love,
natalie

You two look so happy! Congratulations, it is well deserved! I can totally relate to your last paragraph from the feelings I had last year right after graduating. Those eight months before starting grad school I had the best feelings of freedom and creativity and sufficiency. I was working full time but it was not as hectic as school at all! Enjoy this time!!!

i can't wait until cyrille is done with school himself, that feeling will be just as wonderful as yours!

oh wow, congratulations you two! I remember that excitement and relief. I was sad to see it go, but got over the sadness pretty quickly :) And man, the dreams of forgotten deadlines, waking in a panic... I had those for YEARS! I think I am finally over those, phew! You guys are such awesome people doing amazing things. And I have said it before, but I sure wish we could be neighbors! xo
