This so trumps our laminated map in our patriotic room! I would hang it right next to our American flag and our military photos....my husband is in the Naval Reserves. Not only would our grandchildren have an opportunity to learn their states, but our children can each use a separate color marker to mark the states they have visited! Yeah for this amazing cork map....and yeah for you young gals who have generous hearts! borowski@prtel.com

Natalie and Amanda,
This is such an extraordinary piece! I love corkboards and maps, so this one had me speechless! I was an exchange student in Southwestern Missouri (five years ago, seems like an eternity), and was changed completely by that experience. I fell head over heels in love with an entire country and it's people, came back to visit two times, and now it's been two years since I last touched American soil. My heart is acheing to go back, but my college-emptied wallet is just laughing at me like "Nope, not gonna happen.". Not a day goes by where I don't think about the amazing people I met, the exciting things I ate and drank and the love I felt.
#1 on my bucket list is to visit all 50 U.S. states, and I would love to use the map (the one featured in your blog post with the black outline and the state names in it) to keep track of the states I have visited so far. I'd probably add a little snapshot I took in that state, too, and hang it over my desk to keep me motivated to do my best in College so I can return real soon.
Lots of love from across the big pond! -Franzi

I would choose the usa map with the state names! My two year old daughter is obsessed with maps already. She insists that we sit under the one on the subway everyday and traces her little fingers along all the routes (she's even memorized where home and church is). I know she would love to see where we live now in relation to where we moved from and all the places our loved ones live throughout the country. We have plans to put up tons of maps on the wall above our dining room table and this would probably and with all of it!

Hi, Natalie! I am a 16 year old from a small town in South Texas, so where I've grown up, life is a bit dry. (Literally - it's Texas.) Ever since 2007, I have been babysitting, house cleaning, and helping with office work wherever I can so I can earn extra money. My parents allow me to use that money to go out and see the world. So far, I have gone to New Mexico, Georgia, Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland and many, many other places in Texas. This summer, I will be traveling to New York, Greece and Rome. I would use this map to pinpoint the places I have travelled within the US, as a reminder of how hard work can pay off. I have a large, empty wall in my room that I would hang this map on. I hope you consider me for this giveaway. Thanks, Natalie! :) julierakowitz@gmail.com

Howdy!! I am currently in school at Texas A&M to become a middle school social studies and language arts teacher first in Dallas, and then I hope to take my teaching career overseas, Lord willing. Teaching is my dream and passion and I am always seeking ways to make learning more enjoyable. The unlabeled U.S. map would be GREAT for my future students! I would love to see them "pin" states that they want to travel to or attend college in, or have visited in the past... I could also use it as a study tool and have them pin the state names or geographic features onto it! I am ecstatic at the possibilities :) Thank you for consideration!! Hi Natalie,
This is Hannah's friend Carissa! I found your blog a little while ago, and have really enjoyed getting a peek at your farm in Arkansas.
I loooove those cork boards! I've lived in 7 states and have friends and family scattered all over, so it'd be fun to tag meaningful spots on the map, and plan trips to visit them! Although it's a tough call between the plain map and the state's names, I think I'd go for the state's names map.

Hi Natalie!
My new husband and I would LOVE to put this sweet map in the guest room of our farmhouse we just moved into. We've been looking for a special way to keep track of where our houseguests visit us from, and we think this map and pins will be the perfect way!
Thank you for sponsoring such a fun giveaway :)

LOVE this! I'd put an arrow in NWA too! That's home for us and put another in SoCal where we born & raised. And 2 more in Anaheim & Orlando to honor our Disney Freakness! - June 22, 2014 at 2:49 PM

Natalie, I love the cork map that has all of the state names listed. I too am a seasonal decorator. I would use the map in my home school room and as eye candy for this tired mama! From, Another Natalie (except my last name is Bush) nanigan@live.com

Oooooh I love this map! I like that you can reuse the pins for whatever destination you're currently dreaming up.... Because for some of us, it changes quite often!
